Luxury Boutique Accommodation at Tamborine Mountain
What has been a lifetime dream to one day live in the country, became our reality at the start of 2022. It was during the pandemic that our vision of other destinations was diminished as we discovered so close to home one of the most beautiful, picturesque regions in the world, the Scenic Rim. There was something about the Scenic Rim that had us captivated from the moment we started exploring this incredible region, wondering why we were always so eager to go somewhere afar when all along what we were seeking was right here.

When we first laid eyes on the property, my initial reaction was that she looked grand but on closer inspection, you could see she was neglected and run down. The property gardens were overgrown, and the house was hidden by a mass of rotted timber, shipping containers and unruly shrubs that blocked any natural light into the homestead.
The moment that changed everything was when we walked through the laneway to the back of the property. We couldn’t believe our eyes, the expansive view of the Green Cauldrons, Mount Warning clearly in our vision, the ocean sparkling in the distance, we both took one look at each other and knew that this was it, we felt connected to this place from the start, it felt we were always meant to be here.
We know what it takes to renovate, we certainly have the background experience, but nothing prepared us for all the unexpected setbacks, months of torrential rain, lack of tradesmen and hefty building prices delayed us, but with determination and insane amounts of hard work, our vision finally came to life.
We are so proud of how far we’ve come, yet we are still in our infant stages. Our dreams are big and forever evolving, we intend to keep growing and further establishing this beauty as time goes on.
We can’t wait to watch our gardens flourish and bloom over the next few years, we have planted over 60 trees, hundreds of plants, and acres of new grass. In the new year, we will launch our shop, build our wine cellar for all to enjoy and complete our Barn Project.
We hope you fall in love with our property as much as we have. We hope you embrace the tranquilly, gaze at millions of stars, watch the sunrise and set, and immerse yourself in nature and create lasting memories.
